Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting to tackle moderately complex challenges for assigned projects with guidance from a scientific supervisor or Line Manager. Exhibit proficiency in essential chemistry laboratory techniques necessary for the development and scaling of chemical processes, including routine and advanced laboratory practices. Conduct experiments, analyze results, and strategize subsequent experiments efficiently to resolve assigned challenges. Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific work is well-documented, integrating contributions for optimal outcomes in reports and presentations. Maintain thorough documentation of all experimental results in accordance with departmental practices and regulatory procedures, contributing to release testing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for future studies.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline. At least 2 years of relevant academic or industrial laboratory experience, demonstrating core process and physical skill sets. Proven ability to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary scientific teams. Completion of all required technical and procedural training as outlined in departmental SOPs prior to engaging in active programs. Strong attention to detail, with adherence to company policies and procedures, particularly regarding data confidentiality and security. Efficient and organized work habits to ensure timely completion of tasks. Compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations as defined in work instructions or training. Responsibility for maintaining personal training records. Reporting any operational issues that may impact workplace safety to management. Upholding confidentiality of information obtained during job duties, disclosing only as legally required.
