Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Printed. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in driving business outcomes through the development and deployment of machine learning models.
Key Responsibilities- Model Development
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models to solve business challenges such as customer segmentation, predictive analytics, and recommendations.
- Utilize Python and SQL for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and validation.
- Experiment with a variety of algorithms and techniques to enhance model accuracy and performance.
- Data Analysis and Feature Engineering
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract insights and identify trends that inform model development.
- Engineer and select features that improve model performance, ensuring relevance and robustness.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to guarantee that clean, well-structured data is available for model training and evaluation.
- Model Deployment Collaboration
- Work in close collaboration with the Senior Data Engineer to prepare models for production, ensuring they meet all criteria for deployment within the data platform.
- Engage in rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure models are ready for scaling and integration across various business applications.
- Technical Focus and Development
- Maintain a strong focus on the technical aspects of model development, including code optimization, algorithm selection, and scalability.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure that the necessary infrastructure and pipelines are in place to support machine learning initiatives.
- Leverage the project management team to coordinate project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, allowing you to concentrate on technical excellence.
- Evaluation and Monitoring
- Implement ongoing evaluation processes to monitor the performance of deployed models, ensuring they remain effective and relevant.
- Make data-driven recommendations for model improvements and adapt to changes in data or business needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for model development, including methodologies, assumptions, and outcomes.
- Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven ability to develop and deploy machine learning models in a production environment.
- Expertise in Python (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and SQL.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services, particularly those relevant to data science and machine learning.
- Strong background in working with large datasets and applying advanced statistical methods.
- Skills
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation techniques, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in data wrangling, feature engineering, and developing scalable machine learning solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical, high-impact solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to team members.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a data-driven team environment.

- Experience with AWS and Databricks.
- Familiarity with big data tools like Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Knowledge of deep learning techniques and their application to real-world problems.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimental design.
