Chiltern Railways are responsible for operating a rail service from London Marylebone through to Birmingham, with many stops in-between around the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire areas. We are looking for an Operations Administrator to join the team, based from our office within Birmingham Moor Street Station, you will be responsible for providing administration support to the Operations Team, overseeing all aspects of office-based tasks and facilitation of the uniform requirements across the network.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Production and issue of staff ID passes
- Oversee the purchasing requirements of the Operational Management Team. Raise purchase orders within budgetary requirements
- Organise meetings and the production, collation and dissemination of documentation for and resulting from them.
- Take minutes when required and follow up actions from the meeting
- Diary management and scheduling meetings through Microsoft Office 365
- Generate reports and data from various internal channels to support managerial requests
- Liaise with other departments to facilitate the operational activities
**Person Spec**:
- Computer literate and be familiar with Microsoft Office 365 software.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to be able to coordinate a large team.
- Flexibility is essential
- Due to the nature of the work, the post holder will need to maintain the highest level integrity and be able to always maintain confidentiality
- Organisational skills
