**Are you a Health & Social Care leader with a background and expertise in Self Directed Support (SDS)?** You could be just who we're looking for to join us as our new **SDS Service Lead** based in **Inverurie**

The main purpose of this role is to provide leadership and best practice guidance to our Self Directed Support team while taking the lead in maintaining and developing SDS services.

Reporting to our Branch Leader, you'll be responsible for coaching and mentoring our SDS team to deliver services to the highest possible standard.

You'll be an experienced leader with sound, demonstrable knowledge of legislation and governance within the health and social care sector.

**What we'll need you to bring:

- **
- A sound understanding of professional boundaries, accountabilities and responsibilities in relation to working with vulnerable people
- Passion for ensuring high quality, person-centred support
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Experience in a leadership role which has had a focus on delivering a coaching and mentoring approach
- The ability to work under pressure and respond to challenging situations
- Proven managerial experience
- A driving licence and access to your own vehicle

It would be great if you also have a a relevant qualification at a minimum of SVQ4 or equivalent. If not already attained, we would need you to bring a willingness and commitment to achieving this with the support from our Training Academy.

**About Cornerstone Self Directed Support (SDS)**

Cornerstone SDS is an advice and information service based in the Aberdeenshire area, operating out of our office base in Inverurie.

We offer support by helping people to understand SDS (Self-Directed Support) and the care available to them. Through providing guidance, our team help people make the most of their care package by finding solutions that best meet their needs.

We have a team of advisors who cover Aberdeenshire as well as Aberdeen City. Our advisors are there to help people make sense of self-directed support and are available to provide support and guidance for the duration of their care package.

**Hours of work**

This a full-time role and hours of work will be Monday - Friday during normal office hours.
