**Main duties of the role**:

- To lead a team of healthcare assistants to ensure high standards of person centred care.
- To ensure the smooth and efficient running of shifts.
- To work as part of the team, providing personal care to our residents.
- To contribute to the care planning process.
- To maintain accurate records using an electronic care planning system.
- To administer medication as required.

**Requirements**:

- Essential you are reliable, with a kind and caring nature.
- Able to build good, professional, working relationships with visitors to the home, including visiting health professionals etc.
- Highly motivated with a desire to achieve high standards of care for you and your team.
- Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- NVQ Level 3 is preferred, or a willingness to work towards this.
- Previous experience of medication administration (full training will also be provided, with competencies)
- Previous experience of care planning and writing person centred care plans.
- To support the Home Manager in the completion of required compliance/audits as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
