Job Summary:
Join our team at The Rowans Domiciliary Care as a Community Care Worker, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to individuals in their own homes. As a Community Care Worker, you will assist clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their well-being and comfort.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide personalized care to clients in their homes, following individual care plans.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and protocols.
- Document care provided accurately and timely.
**Requirements**:
- Experience or certification in hospice care, patient care, nursing, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is advantageous.
- Familiarity with nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or childcare settings is a plus.
- Strong passion for providing quality care and improving the lives of others.
- Excellent communication skills and empathy towards clients.
- Must have access to a car and possess a mobile phone for work-related purposes.
- Availability for morning shifts, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as needed.
