**Job summary**:

We are looking for someone with experience of working in the NHS in a finance capacity. We would welcome a competent administrator to carry out the finance function within the team as well as using a system to organise trainings. If you have a background in finance in the NHS we can teach you the training system. The Solihull Approach team is a business within the NHS, selling resources and training with the aim of enhancing emotional health and well-being. You should enjoy working with systems and being accurate in your work. You should have an excellent track record as a finance administrator. You should enjoy being part of a team. You should have a commitment to excellent customer care. To provide a comprehensive and full ranging administration/Co-ordination service. Working in conjunction with colleagues, service users and stakeholders to provide an efficient service. It is essential that the post holder exercises initiative and judgement using acquired skills and knowledge, maintaining confidentiality at all times. The post holder will provide an empathic and sensitive point of contact for service users. You would be based in the Solihull Approach office within the Community, Bishop Wilson Clinic, Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham and homeworking.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
Communication: Liaise with staff and service users. To provide a point of contact for service users. Provide effective communication and problem solving. To process and collate data for invoices, credit card and other finance related workflows accurately. To raise orders in line with Trust policy and procedures and check and process data relating to other finance processes. Contribute to building effective teamwork in exchanging views, ideas and communicating effectively. Analytical and Judgemental Skills / Freedom to Act: To assist with the collection and provision of statistical data as required and the ability to extract, manipulate, analyse complex data sets and communicate them in an easy to understand manner. Planning and Organisational Skills: Organise own day-to-day work and prioritise team tasks as required showing an ability to prioritise in order to achieve set timescales. Arrange conferences, Training including venues and hospitality as required. Arrange transport as required. Undertake surveys and routine audits of own work as and when required.

Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C GCSE LEVEL 9-4

Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an Administrative environment

Experience of working in a Secretarial/

Administrative role with a proven track record of problem solving

Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience

Good Organisational skills
