We are looking for a part time Patient Services Administrator to join our friendly family team.
The ACDC is coming to Andover Not the band, something much more exciting - an investment of nearly £5million into Andover War Memorial Hospital.
Works are underway to create the Andover Community Diagnostic Centre, which will see improved community access to diagnostic imaging services providing expanded access to Xray, CT, ultrasound, and MRI.
This means that patients will have greater access to vital services all whilst staying closer to home - speeding up early diagnosis and reducing waiting times.
Therefore an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team as the Patient Services Administrator based mainly at Andover and when required at Winchester.
You will need to be enthusiastic and well organised, contribute to the provision of an effective admin service and ensure the Trust provides a positive experience and in accordance with the waiting list policy and departmental procedures.
Training will be required at Winchester Hospital in the first instance.
This role is patient focused and will require a team player who is friendly and approachable and can contribute and support the busy admin team.
Including manning reception, answering enquiries processing referrals, making appointments and handling cancellations. Delivering completed tasks in a timely manner. Ensuring communication at all times is of a high standard so that staff and colleagues fully understand what is being communicated.
The Trust employs around 5,000 staff and has a turnover of over £323 million a year. There are over 18,000 public and staff members. As a Foundation Trust it as directly accountable to its members through the governors. The Council of Governors represent the interests of their constituencies and influence the future plans of the Foundation Trust.
