The Hand Therapy service at University College Hospital is a specialised, outpatient unit, managing predominantly orthopaedic and rheumatology, elective and trauma patients.

The team is part of the large musculoskeletal outpatient therapy service. The Hand Therapy team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists and specialist nurses.

It also benefits from excellent multidisciplinary working relationships with hand surgeons thus enabling efficient patient-centred pathways and high-quality care.

We are seeking a motivated and committed individual to lead our supportive multidisciplinary team.

As an integral member of the Therapy & Rehabilitation team you will have the opportunity to gain both clinical and managerial experience in a challenging and exciting environment. Being the Operational Team Lead you would be expected to contribute to service development and audit and participate in the planning, development and evaluation of the Hand Therapy service.

Evidence-based practice and CPD are considered key to the provision of our high-quality service, and you will be actively encouraged to participate in informal supervision and regular in-service training.
