Job Title: Hand Therapy Specialist

Location: London

Salary: £40-£50 per hour

IMC Locums are seeking an experienced and dedicated locum hand therapist to work with a diverse caseload in London. As a hand therapy specialist, you will provide specialized assessment and treatment for patients with a range of hand conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with hand conditions.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including splinting, exercise programs, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, self-management, and postoperative care.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with clinical governance and best practice standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • Registration with HCPC
  • At least 18 months experience in hand therapy
  • Proficiency in hand therapy techniques, including splinting and wound care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
