The team/department

At the FCA, we are working to create a fair and more resilient financial system. We are establishing more transparent relationships between financial services providers and their customers, building trust in financial markets and protecting all, including vulnerable, consumers.

The Corporate Responsibility (CR) team is part of the Human Resources function and is responsible for the strategic management and delivery of the FCA’s aspirations in Diversity & Inclusion and Community Engagement. The small team collaborates closely with a wide range of FCA stakeholders, both internal and external, to influence the organisation’s corporate responsibility culture and strategy.

What you will be doing (the role)- Lead the ongoing delivery of the FCA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) programme, ensuring alignment with the overall FCA strategy- Lead on the development of a more cohesive and strategic internal Corporate Responsibility communications strategy, that is aligned to the refreshed Community Engagement and DEI strategies, working closely with communications colleagues and broader HR Senior Leadership Team (SLT)- Supporting other members of the team, the HR division and the broader organisation develop their DEI and Community Engagement experience through coaching and direction- Supporting the delivery of the FCA CR and Diversity and Inclusion objectives through working with internal and external stakeholders- Represent the FCA CR Team at internal and external events

Core benefits that you will receive as standard are:

We support hybrid working which means you will be able to work from home up to 60% of the time over a month with the remainder of your time in one of our three office locations.

The skills and experience you will have

Minimum- Demonstrable evidence of developing and delivering DEI strategies and interventions- Proven experience of coordinating people and inputs into complex pieces of work and producing coherent, practical reports and plans- Previous experience of engaging with senior organisational stakeholders, building confidence and trust

Essential- Self-motivated and able to take initiative and demonstrate resourcefulness- Drive and commitment as well as a desire to contribute significantly to Corporate Responsibility and Diversity & Inclusion- Experience of developing CR-related data, and its importance in progressing our work- Excellent communication skills, including being able to write professional and succinct reports- Experience of evaluating interventions and projects and measuring success- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team- Ability to develop strong working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders and gain trust and confidence- Presentation skills with experience of delivering to a range of audiences and levels of seniority- Highly organised with attention to detail
