**More about the team you will be joining as a Accounts Payable **Assistant**:
The finance team is critical to our success in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. We are responsible for the financial health of the company. The team works with purpose and effectiveness, both together and with wider stakeholders. This includes our experienced accounts payable team, who have specific skills and knowledge of financial operations, and is directly responsible for our financial outflows.

**What will success look like for you?**:

- Processing supplier invoices and credit notes (matching, checking, and coding)
- Making payments via BACS
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary

**Everything sounds very interesting but how do I know this is the role for me?**:

- Hands on experience in an Accounts Payable function
- Ideally AAT qualified or final stages.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, high volume transactional environment.
- Can do attitude - essential in a small team with shared responsibilities.
- Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
