**Core Responsibilities: Ensure the smooth day to day running of the accounts and office functions**

**Accounting -**
- Day to day administration of sales and purchase orders and ledgers.
- Overviewing of departmental budgets and escalating issues to FD.
- Ensure applicable laws, regulations and external/internal guidelines are adhered to.
- Communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare bank payments as required.
- Review sales ledger to identify aged debt.
- Monthly stock check and other month end reconciliations.
- Supporting other colleagues and department managers to ensure records are maintained accurately and promptly and in any way that meets the needs of the business.
- Manage office stationery and equipment and budget.
- Maintain the condition of the office.

**Office -**
- Communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond to customer enquiries and complaints and resolving these in a timely manner.
- Manage digital and paper filing systems.
- Develop and implement new administrative systems.
- Ensure health and safety policies are observed.
- Check that data protection laws are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data, and review and update policies.
- Ad Hoc duties as required by the role.
- Ensure support given to other colleagues and department managers to meet the needs of the business.

**Role Specific Requirements**
- Experience in the administration of day to day accounts - 2 years
- Proficient in MS Office suite of software.
- Experience with Sage - 2 years
- Experience in dealing with complex customer queries - 2 years
- Experience of admin functions - 1 years

This is a full time day shift role and is a permanent position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,500.00-£23,000.00 per year
