**Role Overview**

The purpose of the role is to lead a high performing internal security testing and assurance team to ensure the delivery of penetration testing.

To support and lead a 3rd party service to schedule, support and deliver the testing.
- prem and cloud-hosted infrastructure.

**What you’ll do**:

- Engage with the wider business to understand the portfolio of projects, to provide penetration testing to ensure that changes to Bupa’s technology are deployed securely.
- Maintain and deliver a scheduled service to provide pen testing on an annual basis
- Work closely with Bupa teams and Suppliers to scope and setup the testing for BAU and Projects.
- Work alongside Service Owners and Customer Relationship Management team to secure 3 rd party security reports
- Embed applicable Enterprise Security Policies, Standards, Tools and Processes into the penetration testing function.
- Provide review of existing vulnerabilities for input to Service Owners, chasing outstanding vulnerabilities.
- Provide notice to teams that their annual review is due, and when their vulnerabilities are approaching the remediation time requirements,
- Maintain Sharepoint and portals with testing information, vulnerability information, asset information, and ensuring appropriate access control.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Has a track record of technical delivery within a fast-paced environment.
- Specific leadership in information security testing and penetration testing.
- Good understanding of Information Security standards and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of exploits and vulnerabilities - ability to explain findings to non-technical audience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (liaising with globally placed business teams and external parties).
