This is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK, mobility and travel to customer sites and face to face meetings with colleagues will be expected as required.
We are lookingfor an experiencedCyber Security Engineertomanagecybersecurity needs of our solutions as well as 3rd party solutions deployed by Wood. The engineer willberesponsible for discovering vulnerabilities and risks in networks, software systems and datacentres with ongoing vulnerability scans, monitoring network data, and ensuring hardware and software applications are updated. The role will primarily focus on workflow and deployment for solution for theDigital Integrationservice line.The role requires being able to rapidly engage with clients and stakeholders acrossWood to understand their problems and, through[client] presentation, show howwith oursolutions,can solve theseproblems, and provide value, whilemaintaining strong cyber security.Thiscandidate will beworking with lead cybersecurity engineerstocollect and prioritizecyber security requirementsfromongoing projects,proposals,prospects, and overall strategy and drawing out the required functionalityof our products, together with execution/ workflowmethodology andstandardisation in delivery.
The candidate willalso interface with the R&D / product management, responsible fordefining anycyber security requirements, reviewing proposedenhancements (in terms ofrelevant standards applicable and overall IT risks). Support the Lead Engineers with development and implementation of Cybersecurity strategy and initiatives for theSystem Integration group and aligning them to evolving threat landscape
Support in carrying out gap analysis and audits to ensure alignment of contractor documentation with Client requirements / standards
Participating in risk assessment workshops to ensurealignmentwith Client’srisk management framework
DevelopnewCyber Security Policies and Procedures aligned with the business / Client goals
Beachampionforcyber security for internaland partner solutions associated withWood’s Digital Twin solution(s)
Collaborate with Wood Product Managersto analyse the competitive land scape todetermine strengths andweaknesses ofour services/solutions and that of our partners to contribute to thebusinessroadmap
ProvideIT risk supportforproposal development and costingactivities
Providesupport to standardising project execution / workflow acrossregions
Good knowledgeandunderstanding of cybersecurity standards, data protection frameworks,andmaintaining compliance
Multi sector knowledge and global project experience inrelevant areas
Good knowledge and experience inimplementing security practicesand controls related toarchitecture,governance,risk, andcompliance management
Good knowledge and experience withvulnerability management, risk management,compliance, and penetration testing tools
