**Role Overview**

his role will lead the Testing Community of Practice in BGUKIT, promoting consistency and best practice across many diverse teams and technologies. Initially baselining across the teams to understand how testing is carried out on all platforms. Then producing a Testing Strategy in alignment with the BGUKIT strategic landscape. This will lead to an understanding of where the biggest gains and risks are to breakdown and prioritise the work.

The longer term, more substantial goal for the role will be to run the Testing Community of Practice as a vehicle for the adoption and improvement of the BGUK Testing Strategy across all BUs in BGUK, harnessing talent and innovation from local teams whilst driving continuous improvement and best practice.

**What you’ll do**:

- Baseline what we are already doing across the BUs. Understand the constraints that exist with different platforms as well as the opportunities.
- Make Bupa a better place to work without the need to do laborious tasks because they are automated.
- Set goals and KPI's for teams to achieve. Develop and measure KPIs on cycle time, defect leakage from each test stage, Right First Time (RFT), Accessibility, User Experience and cost reductions achieved through automation.
- Track progress of BGUK's implementation of the Testing strategy, striking the right balance between standardisation and local adaptation.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Testing professional with qualifications and experience commensurate with leadership of a large, agile testing organisation.
- Significant knowledge and experience of Technology management and implementation of Automation tools used in all types if testing.
- Senior level stakeholder engagement expertise.
- Innovative mindset.
- Outstanding collaboration, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Aligns and empowers teams toward delivering more customer value
