**ROLE**:REGIONAL TRAINER**

**LOCATION: East Midlands**

**SALARY: £33,500/a + Car Allowance £425/m**

**Hours: 37.5-Full Time/Permanent**

Your role will be to deliver extensive programs of courses to the teams in the region, these could be clinical and non-clinical.
The team will then up to date to ensure the care they deliver maintains the high standards come to be expected from this Care provider who deliver a wide spectrum of care from Care Homes for the elderly, Specialist dementia units, MH Units and more.

**Objectives**
- To ensure learning and development activities are aligned with and delivered aligned to the vision, values and a broad range of policies.
- To promote an inclusive and positive learning culture
- To assist in the development of Service, Regional and Organisational training plans
- To appropriately follow the Training protocols for organising and communicating training events to ensure events are booked and accessed effectively
- To maintain records accurately and as requested, on a weekly basis, in order to provide intelligence with regards to the usage of and effectiveness of training
- To report, in a timely way, any concerns arising from training that cannot be adequately and appropriately addressed on the day
- To liaise with the Head of Workforce Development where there is a need, or potential need, for developing new training or for sourcing/using external provision

**Essential Criteria**
- Relevant Healthcare Qualification (e.g. NVQ/QCF in Management; NVQ 4/5 in Care;
- Additional teaching/training qualification
- Experience of delivering training in a health and social care setting
- Valid driving license and use of own car for work purposes
- Willingness to travel and to stay away from home overnight occasionally
