**Position: Telebusiness Associate**

Our client, a global insurance broker, are looking for someone to join their dynamic team within the Employee Benefits & Wellbeing division. You will sit in the Business Development Team as a Telebusiness Associate. The role is entirely remote and welcomes applicants from anywhere in the UK

**Who We’re Seeking**:
Our client is looking for an individual who embodies responsibility and autonomy, capable of excelling with mínimal supervision.

**Your Role in a Nutshell**:

- Prioritize and manage tasks according to established business plans, ensuring personal and team objectives are met.
- Oversee designated projects and contribute to other initiatives as needed.
- Provide pertinent management information to senior leadership when required.
- Handle appointment scheduling and diary management for the Consultants.
- Cultivate, verify, and expand the client database and key contact details.
- Conduct research on behalf of your manager as requested.
- Ensure prompt and accurate data processing within relevant systems.
- Maintain comprehensive client files and supply marketing information upon client request.
- Actively foster connections and nurture relationships within the market, aiming to secure new business opportunities and identify future prospects.
- Cultivate and uphold strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including marketing and broking teams.
- Participate in external seminars, forums, and events as necessary, serving as a positive representative of the company and enhancing your own understanding of client priorities, evolving needs, and market trends. This role involves actively seeking insight into the external professions or trades that the position interacts with, to inspire confidence and engagement with potential clients.
- Offer support and assistance to senior colleagues and clients upon request.
- Responsively address the needs of both internal and external clients.
- Exhibit fairness and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients, internal and external alike.
- Share valuable information that could benefit the Operating Entity/Group.
- Preferred Background:

- Prior experience in B2B telesales/telemarketing roles.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry and client-facing environments.
- Desirable background in sales or marketing settings.
- Awareness of regulatory landscapes, including knowledge of FCA regulations, data protection, money laundering, and specific standards relevant to insured professional bodies.
- Knowledge of the company’s operating market, including familiarity with competitors, specific territories, and cultural nuances.
- Confidence and strong communication skills.
- Effective negotiation abilities, with a knack for influencing and persuading others.
- A professional and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Independence and initiative, displaying self-motivation, enthusiasm, and drive.
- Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and proactive problem-solving.
- Resilience and composure under pressure.
- Keen attention to detail.
- GCSE qualifications in Mathematics and English (or equivalents).
- Minimum A-levels or equivalent tertiary qualifications are preferred.
