**WHAT ARE THE ROLES AVAILABLE?**

We are looking to increase our administration team and have a vacancy for an office administrator within our Permit Management Team. This position is based at our head office in Slough.

Our dedicated Permit Management Team is one of the aspects of the organisation that we really pride ourselves on. In this role, there are a number of tasks you may be assigned - from processing and printing permits to providing advice to callers.

You will be dealing with a high volume of incoming calls from members of the public, clients, and customers. This role is dynamic and fast-paced so would suit someone who is able to efficiently multi-task and work well under pressure.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be confident, flexible, have an excellent work ethic and most important, demonstrate a high attention to detail.

**EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**

No industry experience is needed as full training will be provided, but this role would suit people with the following skills/ characteristics.
- An excellent level of both written and spoken English - able to produce strong and articulate written work.
- The ability to ensure tasks are performed accurately and to a high standard, in line with policy and legal requirements.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills - able to multi-task effectively
- A professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
- A high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- The ability to communicate with all internal/external contacts and clients in a confident, professional, appropriate, and positive manner.
- The capacity to identify potential issues before they occur and react appropriately.
- Strong team player and able to support and contribute actively in team situations as well as the ability to work independently.
- Skilled at working under pressure, remaining calm at all times. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Tangible requirements**
- **Essential**_
- A*-C grade GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- **Advantageous**_
- Previous experience in an administrative role, or roles promoting skills that are transferable to an office environment.
- Previous industry experience
