Consultant Community Paediatrician

An exciting opportunity has arisen based at the Child, Young People and Family Centre in Newtown, Mid Wales. The centre is one of two child centres providing multidisciplinary services alongside experienced paediatric nursing and allied health professionals in Powys. You will join two highly motivated, consultant community paediatricians covering South and Mid Powys and enjoy high levels of continuity of care and job satisfaction.
Powys is a large county covering approximately a quarter of Wales on the border of Shropshire and Herefordshire. The beauty of the surrounding landscape and superior air quality is immediately apparent with competitive house prices, good quality schools, and a range of leisure opportunities. Travel to the west coast of Wales, rugged Welsh mountains, and the urban conurbations of Shrewsbury and Birmingham are all within two hours’ reach by car or rail.
