Our UK Technical Research team is one of the largest parts of RDD and is vital to the success of Dyson. This organisation has large teams at both our Malmesbury and Hullavington sites.
**NB - this role is Maternity cover and is a 12 month fixed term contract**
**About the role**:
The PA/Team Coordinator will report into the Senior Director of Technology, supporting the Technical Research team, based at our Malmesbury site. As a trusted member of RDD, you are expected to collaborate with a huge variety of people, both within Research and across the organisation, and consistently role models the Dyson values and behaviours.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Calendar management.
- Schedule and organise regular team meetings and briefings, publish supporting material and follow up on actions with participants.
- Work with Dyson Security to manage access requests and asset tracking.
- Co-ordinate local and international travel for Research teams.
- Manage mailing lists and distribute department-wide communications.
- Handling expenses on concur.
- Raise Purchase Orders on SAP Ariba.
- Monitor and reinforce office best practices, including clear-desk-policy.
- Be the point of contact regarding general enquiries for the team.
- Flexible in covering requirements for Executive Director’s PA.
- Other ad hoc administrative tasks as and when required.

- Highly motivated individual who is driven to enhance processes and ways of working.
- Highly organised, works well under pressure and an adaptable team player.
- Proven history in building a network of key contacts to support effective resolution of day-to-day barriers.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Good standard of written English.
- Essential PC skills to include Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams.
- Confident and polite telephone manner.
- Good general IT skills.
- SAP Ariba experience.
