About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team at Natalie Wells Recruitment. As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily finance operations and team development, working closely with the Finance Director to steer strategy and mentor the directors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a small finance team of 4, bringing cohesion and drive excellence to the department.
  • Support in producing management accounts for a few sites, and assist the Finance Director in producing a new group reporting pack for the Directors.
  • Liaise with Year End auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Produce good Management Information and shape the reporting for a business that is growing nicely.
  • Manage your own workload and that of the team, with autonomy and a self-starter approach.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in group consolidations, budget preparation, and liaising with Year End auditors.
  • People management is a passion of yours, and you enjoy autonomy and are a self-starter who can be relied upon to manage your own workload and that of a team.
  • Experience in producing good Management Information and shaping the reporting for a business that is growing nicely.
What We Offer
  • Salary in line with qualification and experience, c. £55,000 - £65,000.
  • This is a Malmesbury office-based role with the flexibility to work hybrid once established.
  • Car parking on site.
  • Commutable from Bristol, Chippenham, Cirencester, Malmesbury, Stroud, Swindon, and Tetbury.
