**Job Summary**
Falkirk District Credit Union are looking for an enthusiastic person to join their team within their main office in Grangemouth to assist in the day to day running of the Credit Union. This position involves a range of tasks including clerical duties, administrative support, customer service, and basic financial transactions. The Office Assistant contributes to the running of the office and delivering exceptional service to our members.
**Mondays 9.30am - 2.30pm**
**Tuesdays 9.30am - 2.30pm**
**Thursdays 9.30am - 2.30pm**
- Possibility of extra hours in future_
**Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to board/staff within the credit union
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning documents and processing loans.
- Assist in the processing of member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
**Essential requirements**
- At least 1 year’s office experience
- Customer service and communication skills - face to face and by phone
- Awareness of Credit Unions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Able to manage your time effectively and work on own initiative as well as being part of a team
- Ability to be flexible within role
- Ability to deal with difficult situations professionally
- Financially aware
- Cash handling experience
Training will be given on the IT Package used by the Credit Union.
Social media experience and interest would be advantageous
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
