**The post holder will be required to**: Meet the NMC Standards of Proficiencies for Midwives and be a credible midwifery leader. Contribute to the support and development of all staff within the multidisciplinary team by providing professional and clinical guidance and advice. Establish and maintain a level of service which is equitable, evidence based and consistent with the recommendations from local and national policies and guidance. Lead on the coordination and provision of monitoring and performance information of the preterm birth prevention service and multiple pregnancies, ensuring the delivery of a high standard service to women/ pregnant and birthing people, and their families.

Provide, implement, and facilitate educational programmes which will equip other staff to provide quality care to this group of service users. Working towards strategic direction and identify pathways and solutions to ensure that local, regional, and national preterm birth prevention standards are implemented effectively within the Local maternity and Neonatal System. Work with the Preterm birth prevention multidisciplinary teams in Norfolk and Waveney LMNS to align and implement system wide pathways, patient information and guidelines.
