**Context**:
The New Foscote Hospital has been successfully established in Banbury for over 40 years and has provided services and treatments to thousands of people from across the region during this time. We have over 65 consultants, all of whom are leaders in their specialist fields and choose to hold their private practices here, working alongside our friendly, highly qualified and experienced nursing and support teams. **Role Purpose**:
Working closely with the HR Coordinator, as HR Assistant the main purpose of this role will be to support the HR Manager with all aspects of day-to-day administrative support regarding the employee lifecycle.

**What you will be doing**:

- Assist with all recruitment based administrative duties including advertising job descriptions, shortlisting CVs and arranging interviews.
- Create new starter paperwork including offer letters, contracts and onboarding documentation.
- Adding all new starters on our internal HR system, ensuring all new starter checks are actioned such as DBS checks, reference requests, e-learning, IT logins and occupational health referrals.
- Attend and act as supporting HR on occasion in HR meetings such as probationary meetings, investigatory meetings, grievance hearings and performance or training meetings.
- Support with all other ad-hoc duties and HR projects.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Previous HR experience, minimum of one year’s experience in similar type of role
- Strong administration skills with excellent attention to details
- Proficient in computer programmes, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to learn and use internal and external IT systems
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to recognise the importance of strict confidentiality
