We are looking for a flexible, friendly person with a positive approach and a drive for self-development to join this small established internal sales team in Huddersfield. Joining a great team environment you will be responsible for liaising with customers and transport carriers to solve any issues and provide admin/customer service support to the sales team.

**Duties include**:

- Liaise with transport carriers and maximise the effectiveness of the working relationship
- Chasing delays in delivery / following up with carriers and keeping customers informed
- Ensuring missing items are fully investigated, with detailed information passed to the carrier
- Processing online claims for loss/damaged deliveries, within a set timeframe
- Proactive checking of partial deliveries / misrouted items
- Liaise with relevant departments companywide
- Requesting and ensuring receipt of credits where applicable
- Keeping lines of communication open between the company, our carriers and our customers
- Assist the internal sales team with day-to-day administrative and customer service duties

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a sales support, office administration or customer services environment is essential. Experience within the automotive or logistics sector would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.30pm

**Salary**: £26,000

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
