Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Engineering Procurement and Construction client to recruit a Pre-Construction Manager (Civil) for its Walsall site.

The Pre-Construction Manager (Civil) role comes with a salary of up to £85,000, 5% bonus, working fully remote.

Responsibilities and duties

Establish the civil pre-construction strategy, including the procurement strategy and tender preparation time schedule.
Establish and agree the project temporary requirements including laydown and utilities and provide inputs to the QS for inclusion into the BOQ and estimates
Provide inputs to the civil tender time schedule in conjunction with the Tender Manager Civil and Civil Scheduler
Prepare construction sequences and methodologies, milestone and payment schedules for the subcontract

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

· Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.

Personal skills

The Pre-Construction Manager (Civil) role would suit someone who is:

Experienced in Construction Management and / or Commercial Management background in heavy civils plant projects
Able to communicate complex technical issues.
Proficient in Microsoft office
Familiar with the Tools and Procedures used (user knowledge of PIRS, SAP and MS Project)
Strong project management skills and able to handle multiple-projects in conjunction

Salary and benefits of the Pre-Construction Manager (Civil) role

· Salary upto £85,000 DOE

· Fully Remote position

· 5% bonus
