Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish the civil pre-construction strategy, including procurement strategy and tender preparation time schedule.
  • Manage the procurement process of civil works, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Conduct market assessments and identify suitable contractors for new and ongoing markets.
  • Review and provide input to the bid analysis document, prepared by the QS.
  • Prepare and present the Award Recommendation to Civil and Project Execution Management and the Board.
Requirements:
  • Construction Management and/or Commercial Management background with experience in multi-disciplinary heavy civils plant projects.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of construction methods, interfaces, productivity, and scheduling.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to communicate complex technical issues.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
