Key Responsibilities:

* Lead Generation and Prospecting:

* Identify and research potential clients and industries for work-based learning programs.

* Develop and execute strategies to generate new business leads and opportunities.

* Client Engagement and Relationship Building:

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, industry partners, and educational institutions.

* Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations to promote the benefits of work-based learning programs.

* Sales and Business Development:

* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.

* Prepare and present compelling proposals and contracts to prospective clients.

* Negotiate and close business deals to secure new partnerships and collaborations.

* Market Research and Analysis:

* Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.

* Analyse client needs and feedback to continuously improve our offerings and value proposition.

* Collaboration and Coordination:

* Work closely with the Work-based Learning Team to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of programs.

* Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

* Reporting and Documentation:

* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development progress.

* Prepare regular reports on business development activities, achievements, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.

* Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the education or training sector.

* Strong understanding of work-based learning concepts and their benefits.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.

* Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
