You will be a vital member of the Business Systems team supporting operations, projects, and other critical business value chains.
The Business Application Support Specialist is responsible for working to develop, design and own technical solutions primarily on the ServiceNow platform. They will provide administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support by using good practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions utilising the ServiceNow capabilities.
What you'll do:
Support business processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Demand, Portfolio Project Management, CMDB, Discovery, Asset, Service Catalogue, Knowledge etc.
Support the integration activities for the requirements in scope for the continual service improvement programme
Successfully plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of all aspects of the platforms.
Support Business systems and broader user community with configuration requirements.
Own the delivery of updates via our Change Management process
Provide software coding and customisation including, but not limited to screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development
Update and maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades to certify all applications for use after the upgrade completes.
Coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues.
Obtain and analyse/interpret business requirements to purpose sustainable and viable solutions in ServiceNow.
Answer "how-to" technical and application configuration questions.
Create and maintain system design and operations documentation. Who you are:
This role would be well suited to an individual who has strong experience of ServiceNow system maintenance and development. You will have worked on basic ServiceNow components like business rule, client script, UI policy, data policy, UI action etc and have knowledge of JavaScript and SQL queries as a minimum and should be able to write client and server side JavaScript, .NET, Jelly code etc.
The role requires stakeholder management so strong interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team and a drive for continuous improvement are necessary.
Key Requirements:
Business Systems maintenance and management
Experience on integration of ServiceNow with other systems
Experience working with JavaScript, angular framework
Ability to suggest and implement proposals for process improvements within projects
Know the ServiceNow Platform, from the technology, development, integration and modules, to design, develop, implement and test modules according to agreed timelines, budget, costs, quality and development standards
Maintain high level of product and solution knowledge and maintains an up-to-date skills profile in ServiceNow and JavaScript, .NET and Jelly code.What we offer:
