Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in providing educational support to students of various ages and academic levels. Your expertise and guidance will help students achieve their academic goals and foster a love for learning.

Duties:

- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students

- Assess students' individual needs and develop personalised lesson plans

- Assist students with homework assignments, test preparation, and study skills

- Teach and reinforce fundamental concepts in various subjects

- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles

- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians

- Collaborate with individuals involved in the student's education to address specific educational needs

- Utilise educational resources and technology to enhance tutoring sessions

Experience:

- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred

- Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject(s) being tutored. We are looking for tutors across multiple of subject expertise.

- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students of all ages

- Experience working with children, including those with special education needs, is a plus

- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive learning environment

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract, Freelance

Pay: £24.25-£26.57 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week

Schedule:

* Bachelor's (preferred)
