A well established, national company are looking for an experienced Compliance Training Manager to work flexibly between the office in Derby and home. The role will be split 50/50 between managing the compliance training team and delivering the new Compliance Induction and Annual Compliance Refresher training programmes. These programmes are both 2 days in length and will be delivered to all direct care roles and management. This is circa 3,500 colleagues around the UK.

Purpose of the Role:

* Manage and lead the Compliance Training Team to deliver high quality and engaging compliance training that meet regulatory and legal requirements

* Design, develop and maintain compliance training materials in line with regulatory, organisational and legal changes

* Deliver training to include but not limited to Moving and Assisting People, First Aid and Basic Life Support, Moving and Handling Loads, Food Safety incl. Fluids and Hydration, Fire Safety, Health and Safety Awareness, Infection Prevention and Control, Safeguarding, Privacy and Dignity, Equality and Diversity, Person Centred Care and Communication skills

Duties:

* Manage the compliance training annual learning and development budget

* Effectively lead and manage the Compliance Training Team to be a high performing team

* Undertake monthly team meetings with the Compliance Training Team to share feedback, set schedules for delivery, review training material updates and review areas for continuous improvement

* Undertake monthly 1-2-1’s and annual appraisals with team members

* Set up course dates and times on the Learning System at least 3 months in advance Monitor training bookings to ensure relevant availability to meet demand

* Undertake observations of the team delivering learning in line with the Observation of Training policy

* Design and develop training using appropriate learning and assessment methods

* Deliver engaging and informative training sessions

* Effectively manage learners to ensure that they are engaging with the learning in line with policies and guidance

* Ensure constructive feedback is provided to managers of learner’s post attendance on sessions for learners on an exception basis

As the Compliance Training Manager, you will have experience in managing and leading a team whilst being skilled in developing and delivering highly engaging training via webinars.

You’ll already have experience of working in a busy and fast paced team and have knowledge of the health and social care regulatory and wider statutory learning requirements. You will be someone who is capable of working autonomously and have a creative, enthusiastic and confident approach to the role.

In return you will be offered a salary of £37,965. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week, flexibility is available. This is a hybrid position working between home and the head office in Derby.
