About Us:
Jameson Legal is a dynamic and growing law firm seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall compliance with the terms and conditions of our firm's authorisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the firm's compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC).
- Develop and implement effective compliance policies and procedures, including training staff on compliance and client-facing quality of service.
- Oversee and sign off all lead generation and service advertisements to ensure compliance with relevant marketing requirements.
- Provide regular reports to the management team on the status of the firm's compliance arrangements.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure the firm's compliance with new requirements.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive, or licensed conveyancer with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in a compliance role, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and reports to staff and management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
