POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Working Hours: 14:00 - 22:00 - Hours may vary based on training needs
  • Compensation: £29,287.44

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate training and development initiatives as necessary
  • Enhance health and safety awareness across the organization.
  • Serve as a resource for specialized knowledge in MHE training and health & safety matters
  • Provide continuous health & safety and MHE support and training for site personnel
  • Maintain an MHE training matrix, organizing and planning training and awareness programs as needed.
  • Lead and assist in MHE audits and inspections
  • Ensure proper assessment of all new employees before they commence operations
  • Create effective training plans aligned with business needs, developing and delivering workshops to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external regulatory and auditing bodies.
  • Uphold a safe working environment that adheres to all health & safety policies and procedures regarding MHE
  • Monitor performance levels of all MHE operators on site
  • Foster a collaborative working environment by building strong relationships with warehouse, transport, and administrative teams
  • Ensure all MHE defects are documented, and Menzies defect procedures are followed to completion
  • Work closely with the site health & safety coordinator to ensure all aspects of facility management, hygiene, and maintenance are addressed and repaired as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid RTITB Qualification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MHE operations
  • Ability to instruct MHE users effectively
  • Demonstrated skills in people development and the ability to train, coach, and mentor individuals professionally
  • Experience in delivering training through both individual and group presentations
  • Capability to teach new skills and qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Training in accident/incident investigation
  • Fire Marshall training
  • Trained in racking inspection and repair.
