Fully Site Based.Job description:

Preparation of Type A containers and regulatory documentation for shipment of radiopharmaceuticals to ADR (carriage of dangerous goods) regulations
Routine shipment of dangerous goods in accordance with cGMP and site SOP's to ensure adherence to ADR regulations
Liaising with couriers and customers to ensure timely deliveries of radiopharmaceuticals to customer sites.
Responsible for the daily cleaning and maintenance of shipping laboratory.
Work to a shift pattern for manufacturing according to customer demands and business needs including weekends.
Assist in facility preparation for MHRA and EA inspections where required.
Ensure adequate stock levels of consumables required for the shipment of dangerous goods are maintained.
Provide administrative support with archiving of documentation, materials control and other tasks where required.
Work with other PETNET staff to ensure alignment of operational processes and back up capabilities across all PETNET sites.Further Job Information

The role is focused on shipment:
The operator will sanitise lead pots and transfer them into a hatch communicating with the production unit.
The production chemists will manufacture the products and put them into the lead pot.
the operator will take the lead pot and move them into a lead case, along with paperwork and documentation.
They will prepare the case for shipment, complete all the documentation, and move the case outside to drivers.
The cases have to be cleaned and sanitised when returned from hospitals.
All the cases will have to be organised ready for the production session.
Clean and sanitise the shipment area at the end of the day.
Other production support tasks may be required from time to time (sanitising materials inside the production room, cleaning other production areas, etc.).

This role involves working in a heavily regulated environment (radiation and pharmaceuticals), therefore we require a very high attention to detail.
This role involves working with radioactive products. All the radiation doses are carefully monitored by highly qualified personnel, and all the work performed on site is very safe (all our operators have been working with these products for all their working life). However, the operator will have to be comfortable working with radioactive products.
This role involves working with heavy loads, such as heavy lead pots and heavy lead cases. The operator will have to be physically fit for these tasks.
Due to their nature and their urgency, our products have to get out of the door within 5-10 minutes from production. This job involves working in a fast-paced/high pressure environment. The operator will have to be able to work in this kind of environment maintaining a very high attention to details.Experience/skillset

The ideal candidate would have experience of working with ionising radiation, although full training would be provided.
Good communication skills and experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial.
Driving License /Own transport due to hours
Willing to stay in the role as this is a temporary to permanent position.

High attention to detail - no cutting corners
Heavy Lifting will be required.
