Our client is looking for an HR Assistant to play a crucial role in supporting the HR department's daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work within a busy HR team. You will assist with a variety of HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and a variety of general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and preparing offer letters.
Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation, undertaking pre-employment checks and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
Help manage employee queries, assist in the preparation of HR documents, and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Assist with various HR projects and initiatives, including intranet updates, training sessions, and performance reviews.
Maintain and update the HR database and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist in ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed and support compliance requirements.

Skills and Knowledge

At least 2 years previous experience in an administrative role is required, preferably gained within a professional services environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Package

Competitive salary and benefits package.
9.15am – 5.30pm Mon-Fri
27 days holiday plus bank holidays and discretionary day at Christmas
Hybrid working pattern (3-4 days office based after probation)
