Internal and Independent Sales Manager – Food manufacturing

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Internal and Independent Sales Manager to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving sales within both the internal teams and independent sales channels. You will work closely with customers to provide tailored menu solutions, leveraging your commercial awareness and marketing expertise to enhance success.

Location: Staffordshire
Salary: up to £42,000 + OTE + package
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Management: Oversee and manage sales activities within internal teams and independent sales channels, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
* Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sales opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and achieve goals.
* Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the food industry.
* Strong understanding of commercial practices and market dynamics.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
* Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Creativity and innovation in developing sales strategies and solutions.
