Position Overview:
The Sales Account Manager plays a crucial role in nurturing and expanding a portfolio of clients

with a strong emphasis on acquiring new business and managing existing accounts. This role involves identifying opportunities for innovation

and investment to drive growth.

Core Responsibilities:
Sales Management

  • Drive growth across all sectors of the organization and ensure that sales objectives are
monitored and met

  • Maintain a portfolio of clients to foster robust and enduring
relationships

  • Proactively engage with clients as necessary
  • Process sales orders
  • Create quotes and follow up on their outcomes
  • Collaborate with suppliers to secure pricing and special non-stock items
Business Development

  • Identify new sales avenues
  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure targeted outreach to the right clients with offers, promotions, and special deals

  • Gather and share customer feedback regularly to enhance operational efficiency and maintain a high standard of customer service

  • Monitor competitive landscape from a sales perspective and ensure that all relevant information is
disseminated

Client Relationship Management

  • Oversee all client interactions through the CRM system to ensure accurate data capture and maintain a pipeline of opportunities

  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring closure with all relevant departments and

    management

Reporting & Administration

  • Identify customer opportunities that contribute to the executive report
  • Share success stories, major wins, new accounts, and high-profile orders across relevant platforms to enhance the company's visibility

  • Complete administrative tasks efficiently

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will likely possess the following qualifications:

Essential

Proven experience and comprehensive understanding of customer engagement

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Proficient in IT and CRM systems

Team-oriented

Desirable

Experience in the construction, distribution, or traffic management sectors
