The Opportunity
As a Commercial Manager, you will work closely with the Lead Project Manager (PM) to ensure adherence to all contract requirements. You will provide expert guidance on commercial and contract matters during the delivery phase to support the Lead PM and Operations Lead (OL).

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Contractual Communications: Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual communications between the company and the Client, attending stakeholder meetings as necessary.
Project Oversight: Provide oversight and input during the project delivery phase, managing contract variations, amendments, and rate adjustments.
Advisory Role: Offer advice and support to the PM during project delivery, liaising with legal advisors for additional guidance when required.
Financial Management: Collaborate with the PM, Cost Engineer, and Project Controls team to manage the financial aspects of the contract effectively.
Supplier Management: Lead contract discussions with suppliers, monitoring and ensuring supply chain performance.
Performance Monitoring: Support the achievement of contract KPIs, including the performance evaluation of key suppliers.
Meeting Participation: Attend regular project team meetings and client contract meetings to provide commercial and contract management support.
Stakeholder Reporting: Participate in in-house project review meetings with key stakeholders, providing updates on contract matters.
Tender Support: Assist with tender activities as needed.You will have the following qualifications and experience 
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of NEC forms of contract (NEC 3 / 4 PSC and ECC).
Proven experience in commercial management, project management, and contract delivery, preferably within the nuclear or engineering sectors.
Experience with large project environments.
In-depth knowledge of contract management and working under NEC contracts.
Understanding of tendering processes.
Proficiency in Project Management.
Supply chain experience.
Permission to work in the UK by the start of employment.
Willingness to undergo necessary security vetting processes.Get in touch now
