Senior Commercial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial relationship with clients, leading and mentoring staff, and ensuring the commercial interests of the delivery team are protected.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their commercial needs are met and exceeded.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage staff within the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Commercial Risk Management: Identify and manage commercial risk on new and existing contracts to ensure the company's interests are protected.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and negotiate contract agreements as required.
- Financial Management: Manage financial aspects of contracts, including profit and loss, cash flow, KPIs, and cost to complete statements.
- Business Development: Work with sector managers and directors to develop and implement commercial strategies to exceed commercial targets.
- Commercial Experience: Proven track record in client management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
- Education: Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Contract Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of forms of contract, including NEC.
- Industry Experience: Experience working for a main contractor, preferably within the energy sector.
