Commercial Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver best-in-class contract controls, coupled with P&L performance across the Automation, Production, Service & Engineering (APS&E) profit centers.
- Accountable for the commercial and cost management of all projects from inception to close-out, ensuring maximum efficiencies and full compliance with all BUK governance procedures.
- Work closely with Technical, Project Management, and Project Controls teams to provide visibility on Contract Financial Performance.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and project board reports to senior management.
- Study and familiarize oneself with relevant Contract Commercial Terms and Conditions and monitor to ensure compliance.
- Assist in preparation of valuations on client contract terms and identification and management of contract variations.
- Collate contract budgeting/forecasting information and check on integrity of information provided.
- Assist in preparation and resolving claims and re-negotiation of revised contract terms.
- Identify areas of commercial weakness and assist in improving problems.
- Assist in preparing/reviewing the commercial element of Business Cases and preparing financial elements for client reports.
- Monitor and provide feedback relative to KPI performance and highlight areas where improvement is necessary to optimize financial return.
- Assist Project Manager in the development of appropriate processes/systems to cater for client-specific requirements.
- Interface person for Invoicing departments with regard to commercial issues.
- Reconciliation exercises as required.
- Provide detailed analysis of completed projects to highlight areas of learning.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a similar commercial role.
- Contract Awareness including an understanding of NEC4/NCE3.
- Knowledge of SAP.
