Our school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for all students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are proud of our ever-growing SEND provision and are looking for a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher to join our team.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated SEND Teacher with experience in managing and delivering high-quality education to children with SEND, particularly those who are non-verbal autistic with high needs. The successful candidate will lead our SEND provision and manage a team of SEND Learning Support Assistants (LSAs).

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the SEND provision across the school.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for SEND students.
Manage and support a team of SEND LSAs, providing guidance, training, and development.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor and assess the progress of students, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and school policies.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience in teaching and supporting children with SEND, particularly non-verbal autistic children.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
