As they expand the operation, they now require a driven and experienced Manufacturing Director to lead all manufacturing operations with a focus on continuous improvement and unparalleled customer satisfaction.
As the Manufacturing Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations. With a turnover of 40m and c150 people on site you will lead a talented team and work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure the efficient production of their products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with company goals and drive operational efficiencies.
Lead and inspire a diverse team of manufacturing professionals.
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste.
Champion a customer-centric culture where meeting and exceeding customer expectations is paramount. Implement measures to enhance product quality, delivery timelines, and overall customer experience.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve technical issues, streamline production processes, and introduce new products to market.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Maintain a safe working environment and promote a culture of safety among all manufacturing staff.
Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with people that have the following skills and experience:
Proven experience (5+ years) in senior manufacturing leadership role (Director or Head of) within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
Track record of delivering measurable improvements in manufacturing operations, such as cost reduction, quality enhancement, and throughput optimization.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
Degree / Masters qualification desired but not essential for this role.
