The Job Role:
Due to continued growth within our client’s business, we have a brand-new opening for a Quality Manager. The successful candidate will be joining a hugely successful manufacturing business who are real experts in their field, and have an outstanding reputation.
The successfully appointed Quality Manager will be joining the team to help to take the business into its next level in quality, health and safety efficiency. The successful role holder will be delivering improvements throughout the business, suggesting changes and embedding them into the company and culture. This is a fantastic role for candidates who are looking for continues growth working within a thriving organisation.
Reporting to the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will enjoy a varied role including the following duties;
* Reviewing current Quality, Health and Safety across the business
* Suggesting areas for improvement
* Providing reports and information to the Managing Director and SLT
* Overseeing ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
* Successfully embedding change throughout the business
We would love to hear from candidates who have the following skills and experience;
* Demonstrable experience working within Quality
* Excellent experience within Health, Safety and Environmental
* Strong experience delivering efficiency improvements within manufacturing or industrial environments
* H&S Qualification
* NEBOSH or IOSH
* Experience working in modern manufacturing methodologies and process improvements including Six Sigma, Lean Tools, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, TPM, ToC
* Strong understanding of QHSE principles, regulations and best practices
* Excellent leadership skills
* Ability to manage change effectively
* High attention to detail
* A degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field would be advantageous
* The main emphasis of this role is quality, and ideally experience working within manufacturing/engineering and we would especially welcome applications from candidates with this background
