Mode Search are supporting a fine jewellery and timepiece maison in their search for a Deputy Manager to oversee their boutique located within one of London's most prestigious department stores.
This brand specialises in inspiring and distinctive designs, with a strong focus on bespoke services.

The successful candidate will report to the Area manager Manager and will be responsible for managing a team of 2 Senior Sales and 4 Sales Assistants to aid in team development, sales, operational effectiveness, and training.

This role requires a manager with strong people management skills, as well as extensive luxury clientelling experience and knowledge in fine jewellery.

It is the perfect opportunity for the next step within the luxury retail sector.

Responsible for the store turnover and for achieving sales objectives
Ensures the development and strengthens the relationship with existing clients by encouraging appropriate actions and sales” follow-up”
Propose and develop business plans and new ideas to maximize relevant commercial opportunities available on the market
Implementing all brand and boutique policies, procedures, and guidelines
Leading the implementation and monitoring of the action plans
Assisting the Boutique Manager in optimizing boutique performance and profitability, notably through the breakdown of all boutique targets into monthly, daily, and individual targets
Assisting the Boutique Manager to monitor boutique KPIs and individual objectives of the Sales Associate
Ensuring the day-to-day management, training, coaching, and motivation of the boutique team
Under the supervision of the Boutique Manager, evaluating individual performance and supporting personal development and talent development
A minimum of 2-5 years prior management experience and a background in luxury activities (retail or service)
Fluent in English, additional languages are preferred
Computer knowledge in Microsoft; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
