Commercial – Business Development - U.K. / Stuart is a leading last mile delivery platform that connects small and big businesses to a fleet of geolocalised couriers. We empower thousands of companies across Europe by providing same-day delivery, next-day delivery and return solutions. We work across verticals with restaurants, grocery stores, retailers, and e-commerce merchants to enable smarter transportation models. We’re looking for a Head of Sales, to lead the UK Business Development team, focusing since SMB to Enterprise sales across our verticals. What will you be doing? Map and target UK leads in different verticals (food, grocery, retail and e-commerce)Create, manage and grow a sales pipeline, maximising our net growth in numbers and revenue by implementing effective sales strategies and initiatives and delivering on established KPIs for all our business linesBuild, onboard, manage & coach the UK Sales teamDelivering pitches to clients, negotiating & closing dealsEnsure effective communication, collaboration and transition of onboarding customers to the Key Account & Operations teamsAssure the usage of our CRM system (Salesforce), sales process, and methodology to drive efficiency and effectivenessPrepare sales reports, metrics, and performance dashboards, highlighting achievements, implemented actions, challenges, and areas for improvementCollaborate across teams (Product and Operations) to better focus client-facing efforts, taking initiative to identify issues and finding solutionsBuild and deliver compelling demonstrations, pitches and sales materials with the support of our Marketing teamCreate and lead cross-team projects and contribute to the global commercial strategyRepresent Stuart at various events such as fairs and conferencesWhat do we need from you? 5+ years of demonstrated experience of building, training, managing, growing and developing a fast-moving corporate sales team, with a further experience of success as a Sales individual contributor Proven track record in direct sales within a B2B Enterprise context.
