Based at Fernhill our Outstanding, Dementia Specialist care home in Ferndown
Circa £77,000 per annum plus a generous bonus scheme

Colten Care are recruiting for a Home Manager, experienced in Dementia care to manage staff and resources, so that each resident living with Dementia can enjoy a dignified and fulfilling life. You'll be working closely with your Clinical Lead and wider healthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets our own high standards and those of our external regulators.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will create and lead a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the home to maintain its ‘outstanding'. Whilst managing people and processes, being a Home Manager is a complex, influential and highly rewarding role involving close liaison with residents, their families, professional contacts and multi-disciplinary teams.
There is plenty of scope to build and maintain community contacts, whilst developing the home's profile and seizing marketing opportunities in the local area. To help you achieve and be successful, you'll be supported by our fantastic customer service and marketing teams.
So what can you bring?
Our ideal candidate will have relevant care home management experience and a good track record of performance in line with CQC standards and expectations. You'll have experience working with people with Dementia within the private sector in medium to large nursing homes and understand the commercial aspects of the business. You'll enjoy the marketing side of the role and relish the challenge of bringing in new business.
A Level 5 diploma/NVQ qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable.
Essential requirement- Business insurance is essential due to travel during work hours
