Registered Childrens Home Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential children's home in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting a positive culture, and providing strong leadership to the care team.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Manage all aspects of the residential children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
- Team Development: Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team of staff, providing supervision, guidance, and support.
- Individual Care Planning: Develop and implement individual care & behaviour plans and risk assessments for each child, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with children, families, external agencies, and professionals involved in their care.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
- Resource Management: Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Culture and Inclusion: Promote a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and respects the rights of children and young people.
- Service Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a residential children's home setting.
- Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) or working towards.
- Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of Ofsted legislation, regulations, and best practices in childcare. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and resolve complex issues effectively. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Additional Requirements: Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Competitive Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Performance-Related Incentives: Performance in the first 3 months an uplift by £3,000 upon successful Ofsted registration, setup from beginning to end a new home and management of occupancy and maintaining rating.
- Work-Life Balance: Monday-Friday 9-5 + on call and some shift support if needed.
- Annual Leave: 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
- Pension: Pension.
- Training and Development: Funded training and development opportunities if needed.
- Bonus Scheme: Bonus upon KPI's Met.
