Weekend Facilities Coordinator

This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to lead the work of our facilities and building conservation team at Brighton & Hove Museums. You will be accountable for all aspects of facilities management across our sites delivering planned and reactive maintenance within a heritage environment.
The postholder will make sure we are safe and compliant with relevant Health & Safety, environmental, Fire & Security standards, procedures and legislation. You will also have experience in project management and delivery of M&E and services projects. Ideally you will have a relevant professional qualification as well as practical experience of Health & Safety and risk management.
It would be beneficial to have experience of this within a heritage/visitor attraction setting.
Experience of procurement and management of contractors is essential. This role is full of variety, and you will work collaboratively with other teams across our museum service, as well as with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
