Head of children’s community health services

You will possess the knowledge and skills to analyse and interpret workforce data, develop business cases, manage projects and facilitate change. Networking and the ability to influence outside of your immediate team is essential.
LSCFT employs art therapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, podiatrists and speech and language therapists to work with adults and children in mental health and community physical health services. Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.

Evidence of CPD in line with professional regulatory guidance
Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of professional and NHS policy and issues
Demonstrable evidence of robust financial and other resource management, together with business planning acumen
Substantial clinical and managerial experience, relevant to this post, at minimum of network level with a track record of achievement of objectives
Experience of implementing AHP quality assurance metrics
Experience of embedding robust clinical and corporate systems at local level, specifically relevant to AHP evidence of leading and implementing successful change
